22 acre Tirbach Farm nestles above the banks of the Afon (River) Pib, just outside the picturesque village of Brechfa. ‘Tir’ means land and ‘bach’ means small – and we’re still a small farm today – with a bit of a difference. Cows and sheep no longer graze the fields – instead we’ve built up the farm alongside the luxury glamping gers, and are delighted to be the proud owners of a herd of Huacaya and Suri alpacas, with babies called Cria.
Our Alpacas just love meeting people. Well-known for being amazingly relaxing company and for the therapeutic effect they have on humans, our alpacas have really added another dimension to the farm. And we love them so much we’re sure you will too. Guests will get the opportunity to meet the herd and help us with their feeding.
We continue to develop Tirbach Farm in harmony both for our animals and for the abundant wildlife here.
